We were to produce an episode of our weekly radio magazine Ghar Aangan on Immunization. Realising the fact that the people in the Raute community have never been vaccinated, producer Ram Pradhan visited them in Dailekh in February 2010 and made a story on this.
Once the issue was raised in Ghar Angan, the government took special initiative to immunize the Raute kids. As an impact of which, they were able to feed Vitamin A to twenty eight, and de-worming tablets to sixty five children of the Raute community in the nationwide vaccination campaign in April 2010.
